What will I experience at Motion Conference?
Over these three days, students will experience engaging content, powerful worship, and community while learning how to put their faith into MOTION. Everyone will attend Main Sessions live in the auditorium together and then spread around the building during Motion Group times.
Who can attend Motion Conference?
This experience is designed for middle school (6th-8th grade), high school (9th-12th grade), and college-age (18-22) students. Although we allow incoming sixth graders, we ask you to consider the maturity of the student. Adult student ministry leaders are encouraged to attend with the students they lead. We also allow groups of Youth Leaders to register without bringing their students if they’d like to attend with a leadership/team-building focus.
Can parents attend Motion Conference?
Thank you for understanding that this is a student conference and there are no additional seats available for general admission adults.
Can I invite someone who does not go to church, or friends who don’t attend The Chapel to the conference?
Bring everyone you know! Motion Conference is designed for students to know God, grow together, and put their faith into MOTION.
I’m a youth pastor at another church, can I bring my team and/or students to attend?
You bet! We’d love to have you. Please reach out to [email protected] and our team will accommodate your registration.
When does the event begin and end?
The first session of the conference will not take place until 7:00 p.m. and the conference will conclude on Saturday, July 29th in the early afternoon.
What is the cost of Motion Conference?
This event costs $85. For families registering with multiple children, the cost is $75. Use promo code MOTION23.
What does registration cover?
Registration covers conference admission for both days, along with lunch and dinner on Friday.
Are ticket costs refundable?
If for any reason your student is no longer able to attend and needs to cancel, ticket costs are transferrable to another student, but not refundable. The deadline for transferring a ticket is July 6th.

What should I bring?
You should bring your Bible and a notebook! Bring cash or card to snag some Motion Conference merch and snacks available throughout the conference.
Where is Motion Conference held?
The Chapel’s Midlothian location at 3505 Old Hundred Road South, Midlothian, VA, 23112.
Will there be a livestream option available?
There will be no livestream option.
My student has special needs. Can you accommodate for this?
We want to do our best to make a way for all students to attend. Please contact us at [email protected] so we can talk specifically about your student’s needs.
How will meals be served and what type of meal will I receive?
Students will receive 3 meals at conference—lunch and dinner on Friday and lunch on Saturday. Boxed meals will be delivered directly to Motion Groups. The price of these meals is included with your registration fee.
We will provide gluten friendly meals but are unable to accommodate any other food allergies or special requests in meal orders. Please indicate on your individual registration page whether or not you’d need a gluten free option.
Additionally, there will be a variety of snack options available for additional purchase at the snack bar during the conference. Prices vary.
